Coprodur is constantly looking for customers in new countries to grow as a company and we have currently a solid position in more than 10 countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

In addition, some of these countries such as France, Germany and United Kingdom, display even better opportunities to grow in both volume and number of customers as their demand is progressively increasing.

The success of this demand is based on the constant necessity to import early and extra-early potatoes in seasons with regular output as potatoes easily lose quality when stockpiled. Moreover, due to cultural factors, North European countries buy new potatoes from March/April to the beginning of their harvest season by the end of May, when they gather in their own early potatoes. However, and in spite of it, import demand is kept as they do not reach a satisfactory volume and quality of early potatoes until well into June.

In short, old potatoes harvested in Europe during the last months of the previous year are stored to be gradually sold in market before the next season begins.
